Situation: As part of the EcoSystems of Social Innovation source in my MFA Design for Social Innovation program, we developed a partnership with Community Solutions, a non-profit dedicated to eradicating homelessness. We worked with them on their projects and partnerships in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

Approach: My group's task was to create a stakeholders map for all the partner groups working in Brownsville. At the time, it was unclear about who was doing what and who needed to be talking to who. We aimed to create a visualization that would provide clarity to the active partners about who else was working towards the stated goals of the Brownsville partners.

Outcome: By discovering, labeling, and positioning the stakeholders according to their stated goals and responsibilities for the Brownsville partnership, we were able to discover and bring to light opportunities for collaborative leadership as well as gaps in the partnership.
